Print a copy of the SKILLS AUDIT SHEETS for each member of staff and fill in the details - or get them to fill it in!!
Remember to check the information is true - ask to see the certificates at least once during their employment with you - keep photocopies of the certificates!!
Now that you have done this, it will be obvious that there are some weaknesses in the skills available to you in your workforce. Later you will have to make up your mind how you are going to tackle the problem - use of contractors, attend training courses, sit competency tests, etc.
