Health & Safety Legislation is quite clear in saying that responsibility resides with the employer on site and a consultant can only audit & advise. Health and Safety must be constantly monitored and controlled - this must be the responsibility of a full time manager
The package is offered as a service, a training and an educational resource, giving you a safety policy, safe working practices, generic assessments and forms, to allow you to deal with your health & safety problems at your club. In this regard, we can only be your advisors, your mentors, and a source of help. Only you who are on site daily can be in control of the situation.
We have been asked by the Enforcing Authority, to make it clear to you that the Health & Safety at your workplace is your responsibility and the competent person in your workplace is you or another delegated manager.
This program will only be useful to those who can accept these conditions.
